Midleton Veterinary Hospital
Midleton Veterinary Hospital is a multivet veterinary practice based in Midleton, Co. Cork. It covers both large and small animals. We have a new state of the art hospital for small animals with excellent equipment and staff that are 100% committed to the care of your pet. We have a large animal clinic also and provide a wide range of services to our large animal clients.
Midleton Veterinary Hospital was previously known as Knockgriffin Veterinary Clinic. Knockgriffin Veterinary Clinic was formed with the amalgation of two long established veterinary practices in Midleton. Tom O'Brien and Declan Kearney, veterinary surgeons, opened a veterinary clinic for both large and small animals at Knockgriffin Midleton on the 1st January 2001. Eoghan Barry was with us from the start and with Liam O'Reilly joining the team in 2003 and Barbara Fleming joining in 2005 the small animal side of the practice expanded greatly. Yvonne Kennedy joined us in 2005 as head nurse.
It became apparent that we needed extra space to meet the demands of the practice so we set about acquiring a new site to build our new premises. We started building in May 2012 and it was completed in August 2013. We moved into our new premises on the 2nd Sept 2013. It is located about 100 metres from our old premises so this made moving fairly straight forward.
The location is very convenient for both staff and clients. It can be accessed on the link roads around Midleton without going through the town, no matter what direction you are coming from.
We now have a team of six vets, four veterinary nurses and four admin staff. Our aim is to provide the best possible care and treatment to animals under our care.
All consultations are by appointment, with consultations in the morning, afternoon and evening, Monday to Friday, and on Saturday mornings.
